Ingredients:
- 1 onion, chopped
- 3-4 carrots, chopped
- 3-4 celery stalks, chopped
- 1 3/4 cups vegetable broth
- 6-8 cups water
- 1 large ham steak, cooked and cubed
- 1 lb. dried split peas
- 1 tsp. marjoram
- pepper to taste
Directions:
Put all ingredients in slow cooker. Cook on low 4-5 hours. Start with 6 cups water, and add additional water as needed.
